Late Lunch at Dulang - Lutong Kapampangan at Pasalubong

Our Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar guided tour wrapped up a little late so we had to pack-up and check out from the hotel in a hurry.  We've decided to just have lunch at Joyous Resort and Restaurant in Balanga, Bataan. I haven't been in Joyous Resort and Restaurant but it was highly recommended by locals.

Sensing that the kids are famish, John and I decided to just have late lunch to the first restaurant we  may see along the road. Dulang's signage of Eat-All-You-Can for P109 caught my husband's attention, so we had to turn back and try their food.

They have about 15 dishes to choose from, here are some of them:

Tinapa is one of Bataan's famous produce.

Dulang is not a  fancy place to dine in, but for P109 -  it is worth going back to. Dulang is located at 881 Roman Super Highway, Cataning, Balanga City, Bataan. For reservation call 0928-3503906.

Breakfast at Cafe Marivent

The food served for our breakfast at Cafe Marivent in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is so ordinary that even my 9 year old son, Rafael, can prepare. The serving is small for a big eater like me. Even so, I will definitely go back for the place is visually appealing anywhere and everywhere I look.

Our breakfast was made even more joyful meeting Veron, Ryan
and their pretty, bubbly and smart daughter, Bella. They came all the way from Kuwait.

Easter Dinner at MyThai Kitchen

Last Easter, my family decided to have Thai food for dinner. We headed at MyThai Kitchen, located in Greenbelt 2. This sophisticated restaurant maybe hard to locate, but it was definitely worth it the effort.

Phad Thai (Crabmeat Fried Rice), Php 250.00, is always our choice of Thai rice.

Garlic Pepper Beef, Php315.00, has fiery taste. Even if John and I love eating spicy food, this one fired our taste buds. Cooked much like beef stew but with strong combination of thick and spicy sauce and herbs.

Boneless Barbeque Chicken, Php270.00, was a hit with my children. They didn't have to ask for my help to take the bones off. Yeah, I enjoyed my meal!

Very accommodating staff, namely Liza Castillo, Marie Fabregas and Sheryll Melgar

We got to bring home this Easter cookie treats and the paper place mats - that Julia and I find very cute.

We had the opportunity for photo op and short talk with Archbishop Oscar V. Cruz

The gigantic statue welcomes the customer upon entrance to the door.
