Take Home Viand

Entertaining friends at home is a breeze, not because I'm like Rachel Ray who can cook in just 30 minutes. Serving good food is as easy as 1-2-3 with the help of Lola Maria Restaurant. Here are two of my favorite take home viand:

Mang Inasal - Olongapo Branch

While we were in Subic Bay Yatch Club, our kids were craving for Mang Inasal's Chicken Inasal. So we headed and found the nearest one in Olongapo City. This Mang Inasal Outlet is far smaller than that of the Branches in Manila.

What's nice about this Mang Inasal are the warm people working there.

Hats off to Ms. April Climaco - Manager, Mang Inasal, Olongapo, she's super accommodating even to our little kids.

Stoops Bagnet Ilocos

From the prodding of my friend, Bernard Zulueta, we went to have lunch at Stoops Bagnet Ilocos located at 7224 The Zone, Malugay St cor. Buendia Ave, Bel-Air, Makati City, Metro Manila

We were there at 2pm, so it was hot since the place is not aircondioned...

...but for an authentic Ilocano food, I'd bear the heat.

It took us 12 hours drive going to Ilocos last 2008, so learning that there's Stoops just 30 minutes away from my place is a welcome treat.
