Pancake House

Juan is a soup boy, mushroom soup in particular. He can finish 2 to 3 orders of rice along with an order of this soup. I had difficulty looking for a place to feed my son when we went at Manila Ocean Park last January 22. Good thing Pancake House has branch inside Manila Ocean Park. Though they didn't have mushroom soup at that time, Juan tried their chicken soup with bacon bits. He liked it and asked if I could make him the same.
I ordered Bonoan Fish. Cooked much like pork steak.
I liked it especially the picked kangkong on the side.

For dessert, we ordered extra thick Strawberry Milkshake,
which is good for sharing for the both of us.

Delicious Homecooked Meals at Tootsies

Every time we'd go to Tagaytay, I'd see the homey facade of Tootsies, but each time we'd just passed by this restaurant to beat the traffic that awaits us in Manila. Last November, I made it a point to have dinner there with my family to treat my good friend, Nora - along with her daughters Maizi and Jill.

The homecooked meals at Tootsies is amazingly delicious, we keep coming back since the first time we dined there.

What we had:

Freshly catch inihaw boneless bangus with frsh tomatoes and onion on the top

Stir=fried mixed vegetables

Fried Chicken

Adobo flakes - my kids favorite. One have an option for moist or dry,
be sure to instruct the food server.

Boneless sinigang na bangus in kalamansi - my favorite.

Pinakbet - my husbands favorite

Steamed rice that smells so good with pandan leaf on top

Bibingka

Palitaw

Leche flan

Kenny Roger's Restaurant Light and Easy Menu

Occasions of Joy's Top Commenter for May 2011, Bedalyn Aguas, and I headed at Kenny Rogers Restaurant in Powerplant Mall, Rockwell, Makati City.

We had the Light and Easy Menu, composed of Roast Chicken Sandwich and
Chicken Noodle Soup, P140
This bread is good for those trying to cut down on cholesterol, and weight too.

This is delicious but I was hoping there's lesser mayonnaise I opened the bread and wiped the mayo before munching on.

Though the Chicken soup looks it needs more milk, the taste is good enough.

Delightful Ambiance and Meals at Stacy's

Stacy's is one of the dining places that will surely delight your senses. Stacy's interiors remind of Sonja's Cupcakes, but BIGGER and BETTER! Although the venue (Capitol Greenstreet Commercial Center, 1 Capitol Hills Drive, Q.C.) is far from where I live, it is worth the drive!

The pink ref at the back, I LIKE!!!

Bag of Beans Restaurant

It was my first time to dine here for everytime we go at Tagaytay and plan to dine at Bag of Beans the place is always full. Luckily on that afternoon of December 17 there weren't too many customers. I find the place homey and the dishes too. The lack of pretentiousness of the menu and its presentation reminded me of my mother-in-law's delicious home-cooked dishes.

Vegetable Salad laden with parmesan, a MUST try.
This meal could've been perfect if not for the overcooked bangus
From the inside
This caught my attention, taken inside the restroom
